Mike has 11+ years hands-on experience in business technology and management consulting. At Digital Disruptions, Mike works on engagements with public and private sector clients in digital financial services in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Mike has worked on multiple DFS projects across in over 18 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, Mike was Head of Partnerships and Implementation with Ajua, and as Head of Branded Reseller with Telkom Kenya. Mike also has Management Consultancy experience having worked as a Senior Associate with McKinsey on engagements covering strategy, organizational transformation, technology, marketing & sales related work across a variety of industries.
Prior to that, Mike worked as a regional consultant for Mahindra Comviva and for Safaricom in Kenya, where he was the lead technical liaison for the Consumer and Enterprise business units advising on technology use to drive the business strategy.
Mike holds a B. Sc. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology (Kenya) and an MMBA from the McKinsey academy (Netherlands), and is fluent in English and Swahili. He is based in Nairobi.
