Kofi is the Innovation Manager for West Africa at Digital Disruptions, with over 12 years of experience in UX, digital product design, third-party integrations, partnership management and business innovation.
Kofi was previously the Head of Digital and Innovation at AirtelTigo, leading the telco’s digital strategy and designing its self-care app, with first-to-market integrated mobile money services. He also led the integration of mobile money with Google Play Services. Prior to this, Kofi was the Director of Digital Innovation at Impact Hub Accra, where he worked with the Broadcasting Board of Governors and multiple partners to launch software development projects to foster civic engagement and create social impact. Kofi has worked with Starfish Mobile (later acquired by Digital Virgo) as a Product Manager and Country Manager. He has also overseen various content and service providers’ platforms and their integration with billing and digital distribution systems, including Vodafone’s Live Portal and Capital Bank’s SpeedBanking.
A Ghanaian national, Kofi is based in Accra and is fluent in English, Twi and Fante. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Ashesi University.
