Varsha is currently the Credit Risk Expert for Digital disruptions. She has over 15 years of banking experience; predominantly working in Sub Saharan Africa focusing on risk and treasury both in an advisory capacity and implementation of projects
Previously she headed up financial and risk analysis projects for Standard Bank in the Africa Regions division which included 16 Sub-Saharan banks. She has also worked extensively in the developing and implementing innovative credit risk strategies for unsecured products in Standard Bank and ABSA. Such strategies included cobranded products between Standard Bank and MTN.
Varsha has an Honors in Accounting (UNISA; South Africa) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SAICA; South Africa). She is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
